Our Miraflex AM is a 1300mm wide-web eight colour press, printing 400m/ per minute on film or paper, using special finishes including metallics, pearlescent textures, heat reactive (thermo-chromatic) inks and colour-shifting technology. Cost effective and recyclable, film printing is an ultra-lightweight option, making it highly economical for transportation and storage.

We print wet glue labels for a huge variety of clients across the food and drink industry. From everyday products to luxury items, we produce labels for all of the major supermarkets and global blue chip companies, for; cans, bottles, jars, chocolate wrappers, gift cards, tube composites and rigid box covers.
Printing on film or paper, from 65 GSM to 800 GSM thicknesses, we finish to the highest possible specification and accuracy, including: UV, spot UV and emulsion coatings, foil blocking, embossing, metallic papers and seven-colour print processes, all of which is regulated by our precision printing process, and spectrophotometric colour management technology.

Our repro and pre-press facilities are on site, meaning every one of our jobs is characterised by colour consistency, rigorous quality control and attention to detail.
We also have a Lombardi label punch, giving us the capacity to print large and over-sized labels, with a maximum punch size of 360 x 360mm.
All of our finishing machines are designed to get the most out of each sheet, making your job more cost effective, and environmentally responsible: we currently recycle 100% of our factory waste.
We print full colour leaflets, with a maximum of eight folds, at a rate of 80,000 per hour.
Gift and phone cards can be printed in up to six colours, with spot UV, all over UV or laminated finishes.
On press, wet glue label jobs are controlled by our spectrophotometric colour management system for brand accuracy and outstanding printing, while our flexo-printing is controlled by Windmöller and Hölscher’s Easy-Col system – the first in the UK.
Tipografic also offers fixed colour palette printing for both wet glue and reel-fed production.
Techniques include everything from inline perforation and unique numbering to peelable labels, instant wins, scratch-off boxes and random collation – perfect for giveaways, competitions and special offers. And, of course, we provide special inks for printing HMRC Excise Duty declaration marks.
